All the ways we ship

Shipping overland

This is the most efficient and straightforward service to use for moving. You will have your items sent over in one of our trailers, which can carry large quantities of freight safely over a far distance. You will be given a suitable sized truck matched to the size of your move. (Note that this service is only available for moves within the U.S., Mexico, and Canada).

Shipping by sea

If you have extra time on your hands, then shipping by sea is the most economical option. The size of your shipment will dictate what container you will get. (E.g. large shipments will have a full container load, whereas small ones will be shared with other customers).

Shipment by air

If you're restricted to a small timeframe, then our air service option is the quickest. Every unit is clean and climate-controlled and can safely hold any item. Typically this takes three weeks to deliver, enabling you to choose your pickup and delivery date.

Containers and sizes of shipments

Once your initial consultation is complete, we will plan your move using a 20ft or 40ft long container. The size of the container will be based on the number of items to transport. If your shipment is small and does not take up a full container, you will need to use a Less than Container Load (LCL). During this process, your items will be placed in the same container as items belonging to other international movers traveling to the same destination. Our consolidated containers depart every two weeks to international locations. One is regularly sent to London, and the other goes around Europe. If you have a large shipment, your items will be shipped in a Full Container Load (FCL).

Move Happy was the only professional moving company offering a rate that was not inflated due to covid-19. They were friendly, efficient and considerate. Furniture arrived safe and sound, nothing broken. I recommend them. I will advise that if you have any vintage/antique pieces that you don't want disassembled for compact packing, be sure to set those aside. I have moved several times and in this move a couple lamps I didn't know could be taken apart arrived in pieces in boxes. I put them back together, but I would have been happier if the old lamps had been left alone and boxed up in one piece. Help the movers do their job as best as they can by being ready for them with boxes securely packed and clearly labeled. Overall, I really appreciate the services provided by the Move Happy team and I recommend them.
